Sencha is a Japanese Tea that is cultivated in a slightly unorthodox procedure. Interesting, for a Tea that is so widely consumed daily in Japan.

The tea leaves are steamed for near half a minute preventing further oxidation of the leaves after being harvested before they are then rolled, and dried.

This fantastic Green Tea will elevate your overall calories burned daily, making it a suitable element to a healthy diet regime.

Optimal Steeping

• 2 teaspoons per 180ml cup
• 80°C – 85°C water
• 1-3 Minutes

Packaging

We use double chamber tea bags with string & tag, for better steeping and convenient use, for that quick cup in the morning or the office pantry. Fine filter bags allow for better infusion with hot water and result in better tasting tea.

Expiry of the Tea

Black tea lasts way beyond 36-30 months, but for the best optimal taste and aroma, we recommend use before 24 months from the date of production.
Black tea leaves only "age" and they do not deteriorate or ferment if kept in proper dry storage.

Storage Instructions

For unflavored tea, after opening the package, keep it in a dry, room temperature storage. Flavored teas should be kept in an air-tight container and kept in dry room storage.
